Challenge # 287 - "B"elieve It!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! We're going to make you put on your thinking caps for this challenge. We want to see things that start with the letter B on your projects. For example: birds, butterflies, blue, bling, words that start with B, bows, etc. As long as there's one thing that starts with B, it's all good. (If it's not something obvious, please do state what it is in your post.)

This is what I did.....

As you can see I've got a bird, bling, the word "birdie", the colours blue & black and it's a birthday card.

If you'd like more inspiration be sure to check out the wonderful projects the Girlfriends have created. Then, head back here and link up.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Challenge #286 - Seeing Spots!

Welcome to another challenge at Little Red Wagon.  Joanne here with a fun and easy challenge this week.  I want to see spots, dots and/or blots on your project this week :)

For inspiration I created this cute little card using a Birdbrain Digital image.

The flower pot in the image has dots, as do my blue and yellow patterned papers!

So, are you seeing spots?  I hope so :)  Just create something fabulous and then link it up below.  We will be sure to visit your blog and you might even be featured next Tuesday!  Don't forget to visit the Girlfriends blogs for more inspiration.

Happy creating!

Travelogue Favourite

Hey there.  Well, I was surprised I did not see too many cards that were inspired by a different country.  Maybe it is because vacation season is not yet in full swing.  Thanks for those that did play along.

There was one card that truly caught my eye.  Please grab your featured badge from our sidebar.

Come back to join us tomorrow to see what new challenge Joanne has in store.

Challenge #285 ~ Travelogue

Good morning! Welcome to another Wednesday and time for a new challenge here at Little Red Wagon.  This week it is all about a TRAVELOGUE.  And by that I mean to make a project that is inspired by another country.  Maybe someplace you would like to visit one day.  Maybe someplace you have been.  Maybe the country of your ancestry.  The choices are many.

I was inspired by this cutie and her shopping bags in front of the Eiffel Tower.  I paired her up with some pastel papers, an Eiffel Tower charm and a big, fat bow.  Someday maybe I will get to France and be able to practice my limited French for real.

Thanks for dropping by today.  Please make sure you visit the other girlfriends to see what inspired their creations.  Get inspired yourself and link up one of your own. I can not wait to see all the wonderful TRAVELOGUE projects this week.

Favorites for Challenge #284 - Spring is in the Air

So many lovely creations presented this week, a feast for the eyes.  It sure looks like we're all looking forward to Spring.

Here are some of my favorite projects ....

First up is Nanda's sweet Magnolia card - I love all the pretties she added to it.

Second up is Amelia's Clean and Simple card - I love the way the birdhouses were colored, it's just beautiful!

Third is Vic's beautiful Clean and Simple butterfly card - I love the way the card is fussy cut around the edge of the wings.

It was incredibly hard to choose just three out of all the wonderful creations submitted, as I'd like to think they're ALL winners.

Tomorrow, we have Heather's project to look forward to - I can't wait to see what she has in store for us.
Blessings,
Collette

Challenge Post #284 - Spring is in the Air

Hello Everyone!

It's time for Challenge #284 at Little Red Wagon.  This week was my turn to choose the theme and because it's finally turned the corner, I chose "Spring is in the Air".  It's getting warmer out and all the beautiful crocuses are up and the daffodils and tulips are starting to poke up.  Make your project using a strong floral theme, and you're in!

I used a digital image from Tiffany Doodles called Petals Up and colored it with copics.  Mats were made using Stampin Up cardstock.  The floral paper is a digital paper, sponged around the edges with burgundy ink.  I added a floral die from Elizabeth Craft Designs, as well as a pretty strip of lace.  I punched the image panel with slots and threaded a cream satin ribbon through and finished with some pretty rhinestones.

I hope you like my sample.  Looking forward to see what you come up with, again, using the theme "Spring is in the Air", and show us a project with a strong floral theme.  Make sure to check out the other Design Team members' blogs to see the beautiful creations they've made.

Have a wonderful week!

Challenge #283 - Call the Vet

Hello Everyone!

It's time for Challenge #283 at Little Red Wagon.  It is my turn to choose this week's theme and I decided to go with a pretty popular trend - animals.  I am calling this week's challenge, CALL THE VET. But don't worry - no need for a doctor, just use an animal on your project.

I made my cute little bunny card with the Jelly Belly digital image from Whimsie Doodles. I colored him with Copic markers and added three mats to make him really stand out. I added a few enamel dots and gems to finish my card and give it a little dimension.

What animal will your project be showcasing?  We can't wait to see!  Be sure to join in the fun and share your project with us. And be sure to visit the other girlfriends' blogs to see what they have created to share with you.
